A heartbreaking and disturbing incident occurred yesterday in Marenga, located in Bunyala West Ward, Bunyala Sub-county.

During a funeral service, as mourners were in the process of laying a local resident to rest, a sudden tragedy struck. A young man, the son of a Bishop from the church officiating the ceremony, unexpectedly lost his balance, as captured in the video.

In a cruel twist of fate, he tumbled into the open grave while still holding his drum.

The ceremony came to an abrupt standstill as screams of shock echoed through the crowd. Bystanders rushed to assist, but tragically, their efforts could not save him.

He was immediately taken to Port Victoria Hospital, where doctors confirmed the heartbreaking reality—he had died.
