❓ Dr. Lina Zedriga Waru Abuku, Deputy President of National Unity Platform Northern Uganda , was picked up by security operatives on 15th January, yet the state tells the High Court it does not have her. Given past cases like Bobi Njagi, where abducted people were denied and later produced, how can we be sure she is safe, and if someone dies in custody, will they just continue denying it? Where is Dr. Lina Zedriga today?

A plan to tarnish H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Bobi Wine has reportedly leaked into the public domain.
Despite the National Unity Platform (NUP) consistently insisting on peaceful means of action, credible reports suggest the existence of a covert scheme aimed at staging violent acts and falsely attributing them to NUP.
The apparent goal of this alleged plan is to paint the party and its leadership as a rebel organization, thereby damaging their credibility and public image.
Ugandans deserve truth, peace, and justice. Let us remain vigilant and committed to non-violence.

U.S. SENATOR JIM RISCH ON UGANDA ELECTIONS
Senator Jim Risch, chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has slammed Uganda’s recent elections as a “hollow exercise” aimed at keeping President Yoweri Museveni in power for a seventh term.
He criticized Uganda’s government for:
⚠️ Political violence
⚠️ Abductions and imprisonment of opponents
⚠️ Intimidation and misuse of state resources
Risch also warned that Uganda’s actions are destabilizing the region, including South Sudan, and suggested that the U.S. should reassess its security relationship with Uganda — including possible sanctions on key figures like General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
📌 This comes as the Trump Administration seeks commercial and security gains in East Africa, but Senator Risch says this could become increasingly difficult under the current trajectory.
