In Preparation of today, Parish day, parishioners of St. Jude’s Holy Cross Parish, Kyarusozi, have successfully concluded a four-day crusade with a call to return to their homes renewed in spirit, ready to strengthen their communities both in faith and in socio-economic development.

Presiding over the closing Holy Mass, the Parish Priest of Kyarusozi, Fr. James Burasa, CSC, echoed Fr. Vincent Tumwebaze Kaboyi’s message, urging Christians to make use of Small Christian Communities as avenues for socio-economic growth through SACCOs. He called on the faithful to uphold unity fostered during the crusade and to continue spreading love within their communities.
He sent them to become bearers of God’s blessings wherever they go after the crusade

As the year draws to a close, on top of a thousand other challenges, our nation is bleeding once again , following at least 46 precious lives that have earlier been lost in a horrific pre-dawn crash along the Kampala–Gulu Highway at around 6:30 am.

Death by accidents in Uganda continues to tear families apart, despite the many calls for careful driving.

🕯️ May the departed rest in peace, and may Uganda awaken to the urgent call for safer roads. 🇺🇬

POLITICS Update:
In a shocking move, Lilian Kobugabe, popularly known as Biiso and a strong contender for Kabarole Woman MP on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, has notably withdrawn from the race, urging the party to use the remaining seven days to identify a new flag bearer for the position. Kobugabe had recently reportedly garnered significant grassroots support for her bid.

However, her reasons for her withdrawal remain unknown.
