Kitara FC Calls on Fans to Register for Club Cards – “The Pride of Bunyoro Needs You” ⚽

Deo Kasozi, the Chief Community Resource Mobilizer at Kitara FC, has rallied fans to register for official club membership cards, saying the initiative will strengthen the smooth running of the most loved football club in Bunyoro.
The registration offers three categories:
• VIP (UGX 20,000+) – Enjoy club card discounts on all merchandise and pay only UGX 20,000 at VIP instead of 30,000.
• General (UGX 10,000+) – Get club card discounts on all merchandise and pay UGX 5,000 for all home games.
• Children & Students (UGX 5,000) – Watch all games free of charge and receive a customized Kitara FC water bottle.
Payments can be made via cash (with receipt) or electronically through MoMo Pay (*165 #, Code 711989 – MTN) and (*185* 9 #, Code 4355814 – Airtel). Membership cards will be ready every week at the Kitara FC offices, with outreach teams delivering to those unable to access the office.
Kasozi urged fans to embrace the program, noting that every subscription directly contributes to the growth of the club. Kitara FC remains the Pride of Bunyoro and the heartbeat of Kabalega Leega.

Hoima City; A fire outbreak on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, destroyed several items in shops along Market Bypass Road near Nsamo Hotel in Hoima City. According to locals, the blaze is believed to have started when a fridge in a nearby restaurant burst near a charcoal stove. The Fire Brigade responded swiftly, managing to contain the flames before they could spread further. While property was lost, no lives were reported harmed.
