Video: Hundreds Benefit from Eye Care Health Camp Organized by Hon. Aseera Through Itaza Foundation

A massive turnout of residents from Buhaguzi East Constituency and neighboring districts flocked to a free medical health camp organized by Hon. Aseera Rwa Itaza through the Itaza Foundation. The health camp, focused on eye care, offered free eye checkups, glasses, medication, and scheduled surgeries for those in need—all at no cost to the patients.
Speaking to Kabalega TV, many beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Itaza for consistently prioritizing their health, noting this was not the first time he had brought such services to the area. Several pledged to re-elect him in the upcoming July 17th polls, citing his commitment to community welfare.
The event concluded with a lively friendly football match between Kabalega FM FC and Muhwiju FC, with Muhwiju FC clinching victory 3-2. Hon. Itaza thanked Kabalega FM for their solidarity and encouraged residents to continue tuning in for community-focused programming.

SPICE DEBATE ENDS IN CHAOS AS HON. WAKABI UNVEILS EVIDENCE AGAINST AMLAN — SUPPORTERS CLASH AHEAD OF 17TH JULY VOTE

On 10th July 2025, the Spice Debate hosted by Fred Byenkya aka Fredo on was adjourned prematurely after tensions escalated between Hon. Pius Wakabi and Amlan Tumusiime. The heated moment came when Hon. Wakabi accused Amlan of illegally selling land in Kikuube District. In response, Amlan challenged Wakabi to immediately produce the sales agreement—or else he would walk out of the debate.
Wakabi shocked the audience by pulling out a huge file of documents, claiming they contained evidence of land transactions. This move ignited loud protests from Amlan's supporters, who furiously told Kabalega TV cameras, “We are tired of Wakabi's false allegations, but we’ll still win!”
As the debate was halted, Wakabi’s supporters celebrated by lifting him shoulder-high through Hoima City, chanting “Mapepule Za Mapepule Za Duguda Duguda,” backed by a full campaign disco and brass band. The dramatic switch left many stunned as some Amlan supporters quietly merged into the Wakabi camp.
With the NRM primaries for Bugahya Constituency set for 17th July 2025, what started as Amlan’s dominant run now seems to be turning in favour of incumbent Hon. Pius Wakabi, who is seeking a third term in 2026.

Video: Hon. Judith Nabakoba Graces Kikuube Belated Women’s Day, Hands Over Land Titles to Locals

Hon. Aseera Rwa Itaza Launches Powerful Campaign Rally in Bugambe Subcounty

Hon. Aseera Rwa Itaza kicked off his 2026 campaign in full gear across Bugambe Subcounty, rallying enthusiastic crowds at Rwamutonga Trading Centre, Kakopo, and Kamabara villages. Supporters turned up in large numbers, chanting “Itaza Oye! Itaza Aralwa!” — meaning “Itaza has already won.”
When Kabalega TV arrived on the scene, residents were already testifying about Itaza’s track record. They credited him for building over 55 boreholes, distributing Maama Kits and mosquito nets, and providing wheelchairs to people with disabilities through the Itaza Foundation with support from his American partners. These contributions, they say, stretch beyond Buhaguzi East.
Addressing supporters, Hon. Itaza asked for their mandate under the NRM flag this time around, noting that his 2021 win was marred by vote mishandling, forcing him to contest as an independent. “Now I want to lobby from within the NRM party,” he said, urging voters to also support President Museveni in 2026, adding passionately, “TAVAKUMAINI – let him return.”
In a show of humility, Itaza rode a boda boda to campaign venues, saying the suits they wear in Parliament are simply uniforms, but he remains a local man at heart.
