Whether you like it or not,you agree or disagree,you believe it or not, Manager Timo has contributed almost 87% in the music industry of Busoga and Uganda at large.He has worked with different artists in terms of advising them,giving them the word of hope not to give up and even managing artists ✌️

Many of you thinks that Manager Timo has only worked with Voyce Nancy and some of others also thinks that he had worked with only female artists,that's not right.

Before the coming of Voyce Anita who later changed to Voyce Nancy, Manager Timo was already in the music industry and by then he was managing Charity Kimera who used to call herself Charity K.But even when Charity K,left the management and switched from Secular music to Gospel music, Manager Timo did not seat back,he went back and branded Voyce Nancy from the Akapera Music talent search on baba FM to a ward winning artist and the guy didn't look back,he went on and organized successfully concerts for the artist not once,not twice but thrice in 3 years consecutively.

Do you even aware that Park U Omubaya was once managed by Timo,talk about Lysa wine he calls himself Ddm Daddy was also once under the guy,oooh sorry I had forgotten Cross Clemo UG and many others whom I can't even remember.

This guy deserves flowers for what he has done for the industry 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

To me Manager Timo has played his part and he deserve to be appreciated.

On my last post about Jeremy UG something like 1 week back, I posted his song titled and it had almost 217 views in 2 days by then

This evening as I was passing through YouTube to check how music world is doing,I landed on the same video with 500 views in 11 days.This indicates that his video is smoothly moving and hope by the end of this week,he will be doubling it.

WHICH WAY IS BUSOGA MUSIC INDUSTRY TAKING DIRECTION

Here is the current situation in Busoga region among the top artists.

LAND SOJJA Spends a fortune to create and promote his songs,busy in his upcoming concert,his last hit song,the song was brought back by TikTok.
His management and the entire team are lazy,Land Soja as an artist need to wake up

Vanie Tyrah Music Has absolutely no ambition of going beyond Busoga,and she's now the best booked female artist on the ground.

Roo Ya Simba Is the only region artist who has seriously ventured into the Ugandan market for the past 3 years.He has had several performances outside Busoga region
He has the connections but has not made bold move so far.

Cilcon Avokoz Ug I call him the "Wasted Misile" of Busoga region.He had the potential of taking Busoga music to the next level beyond the region but he decided to be fooled by "Kadama"

And now everyone is looking up to Land Soja and his next move,but "Mutabani wa Naigaga" is getting tired of pushing.My sources tell me
His Management team is not hands on project
Mugabe Promotion is more focusing on TikTok content than on artist.
Musiime Sarah is more on television every morning Monday to Friday and I'm sure she doesn't know whatever is happening in the camp of his artist.
Trace Underwood is more of Kampala,she takes a while without coming to Jinja.

"Mutabani wa Naigaga" Is almost naked now, unless he changes tactics and strategy,it's getting too late for him.

Yes,allow me to tell you what no one is daring to tell you

The investors in the music industry are not coming for you and your talent.They are targeting those who are already made a name for themselves

For instance,they are many more talented musicians in Busoga who can sing better than Acidic Vokoz but MAMA BABA Ent went for him instead.He had made his name,had followers and had worked with different established artists and producers.That's just an example.

No one is looking for your talent anymore,even the talent search shows like , , 's talent and others went silent too.

The proclaimed managers are also not looking for talented musicians from scrutch.They are only focusing on Female artists who have already made names.

And most of upcoming artists have been advised that there's the Internet,that you don't need anyone.You don't even need radio when you have YouTube but the same artist can't upload a song on YouTube.

Yes,I agree, Internet has made everything better for any creative artist.You can now promote, record or even launch your music online without going through anyone,but the question is still the same,how many upcoming artists can do such🤷
But the same time,Internet has made artist's manager, Promoters and investors to become lazy in the business

Artist's manager,Promoters and investors are no longer looking for your talent but are busy looking for your Instagram and X formerly (Twitter) followers, Facebook fanbase,YouTube subscribers and TikTok trends.

To make matter worse,even me on my social media handles,I rerely posts about upcoming artists.I only focus on those who have made a name.

Upcoming Music Bloggers and Promoters don't chase clout.

Though I came to Jinja on 27th, December 2012.I speak about artists like Mzee Musobya,The late Mulekezi Magooba ga Busoga, Sandra Sanjja Omuzibu,Ayub Khan,Malagala,FodaMan among others like I lived through their prime.It's just because I study,I listen and I dig deep not for views and fame but it's because of the love of the music and culture as far as Busoga is concerned.

When I joined Busoga music industry as music critic,I found the giants like Promoter Risen Katambula Sir Kismat among others walking tall,these were not just music bloggers and Promoters,but they were music minds.they understood the craft,the history and I respect them because they know more than I do and I say that confidently because I don't see them as competitors but I see them as teachers.

Now to Bloggers and Promoters here is some advices👇👇👇👇👇👇

1.Stop chasing clout
Stop throwing shade to an artist just because you wants to viral.clout fades but legacy doesn't

2.Respect the game that you didn't start
If you are going to call yourself music blogger or promoter then you need to know music from old school to the new wave
From Embhaile to Rnb to hip hop to Lusoflow
Do your homework,you can't speak about Busoga music industry's future if you can't understand it's past

3.Build relationships not enemies
Just because someone has followers or influencer doesn't make him your rivals
Stop seeing everyone a head of you as competitors because some of them can open doors you didn't even know that it existed so be humble enough and learn from them

Tina Baiby---- The best female artist in Busoga region with one hit song

On 18th November 2023,
The Kyabazinga of Busoga His Royal Highness William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV was wedding Her Majesty Jovia Mutesi the Queen of Busoga also known as Inhebantu of Busoga 👏 it's the day that who ever was in Uganda by then will live to remember 👏

Artistes being the mirror of the society,most of Busoga artists composed songs but it's only 2 songs that penetrated and every person believed that Busoga has got talent ✌️
I'm not here to talk about other song,no! I'm here to talk about Tina Baiby.

Tina Baiby composed one of her best ever song called and I see her most of times calling it 's_song, she's right coz she was among the artists who got chance of entertaining the guests after the wedding and that only indicates how the song was big✌️
The song gained 325k views on her YouTube,I know most of you are going to say those views are little but remember in Busoga many people have no time to go on YouTube just to watch a song,they rather watch ### than watching their favourite artist ✌️

With no doubt,our industry is male dominated,a female artist making it from nowhere it'snt easy thing✌️how many times have we had male DJs,producers, promoters and presenters wanting to sleep with the female artists 🤷just in the name of I'll Promote your song hehehehe

Here comes Tina Baiby with a big song,opened her on saloon as source of income where she can get money and put to music ✌️

Since then Tina had composed many songs but all are average compared to the Kyabazinga's song but still she has remained on the top

ARASH UG One of the Best but underrated

I feel like Busoga region has not appreciated Arash Ug as one of the best dancehall and lyricist that the region has blessed with ✌️

I can confidently place him on top 3 when it comes to flow,bars, lyricism and poently 👏Arash can spit bars and flows like River Nile ✌️

What bits my understanding is that Arash Ug has remained to be one of the most underrated artist in the region despite being with different collaboration with Strago D'Genius,case in point when you check his song dubbed that he did with Strago 5 years back,it only gained 108 views on youtube🙆

4 years back he did another club banger dubbed and after some good months he re-mixed it with Strago and Fella Montage gave them clear video but the song gained only 324 views 🤷

To take you back before all those songs I have mentioned above,6 years back Arash Ug did a song dubbed and with no doubt it's his best song with the highest views on youtube (1.5k) views 👏

His YouTube has 178 subscribers with 21 videos the question is,Why is Arash Ug not given his flowers as one of the best dancehall artist that the region has blessed with 🤷 anyway as you read this please go to YouTube and click to search engine write the name Arash Ug and subscribe to his YouTube channel ✌️

Soft and Romance Voices with many problems

10 years back, Sandra Sanjja Omuzibu dis the song that will forever be in the history of Busoga music or you can call it .The song was produced by then his manager and dubbed as boyfriend Sidesoft Pro
Believe it or not the song made Sandra Sanja to be a common figure not only in Busoga region but the whole of Uganda 👏👏
Do you also remember by the same Sandra Sanja🤷well the song was well written and guess what! Swengere Everywhere Muwoomya was the video vixen in the video and if I'm not mistaken by then he was being called and he was working on 103.5 APEX FM
It's believed that what led to the fall of Sandra Sanja was the separation between her and his by then manager and who dubbed as his boyfriend 🙆

Well do you guys remember the song called 🤷 I guess you are now asking who sung it 😂😂😂 there was a beautiful lady called Shona Kay and the song was produced by
Truth be told among all female artists we have seen in Busoga region,it's only Shona Kay who was with a strong team behind her👏👏to cut long story short,it's the relationship that led to her downfall 🙆

By the way,just the way you believe that Cindy sanyu Grace Nakimera before she saw light and begun to sing gospel and maybe the Queen of the dancehall in uganda the lady behind the song called ,Busoga region we had ragamuffin called Immy Yoo
The lady had a song called which was produced by Royal boy✌️this is the talent that we have missed and I doubt if we will have to reclaim it,I last had that she went abroad
But before she left the industry she had wrangles with several music stakeholders accusing them of trying to ask her for s*x to play her music and when she refused thus led to her downfall

The Fall of 'Genius A victim of M-Kopa both Phone and motorcycle.

Once the biggest artist, songwriter,Entertainment analyst and a freelancer in the different media houses in the Busoga region.Strago Genius succumbed to M-Kopa loans (Phone and motorcycle)

Born and raised in Iganga,Starago Genius raised from a well and respected family in the Iganga, attended school from Nursery to University.
Professionally the guy is accountant ✌️
For non-staters,Starago used to analyze entertainment on different Media houses like 103.5 APEX FM,87.7 BABA FM and so on👏
Starago also known as the king of the dancehall in the Eastern region and if you doubt name your favourite 👏
He has different songs on YouTube,he has done several collaborations with different regional artists like ARASH UG,Voyce Nancy,Detacha sakalaman among others👏
He also formed a group of three members (Forgotten the name of the group someone should remind me in the comment) but what I know in that group there was an artist called M.I and they did a song called ✌️
Strago also acted as the president of Uganda Musician Association in Eastern region 👏

Just like Nigerian Author Chinua Achebe published a book called "Things fall a part" Strago became the victim of M-Kopa loans after buying an M-Kopa phone and decide to pass through behind door not to pay the remaining balance 🙆it's also believed that by the time M-Kopa people were busy demanding him,he had also requested for the motorcycle (Boda boda)
Anyway Strago Genius was last seen last year on March till date,many population can't tell you where our legend located to🙆
