Basoga Baino FM (BABA FM) is a radio station broadcasting on 87.7. It was set up by the Busoga Kingdom to address issues of ordinary people living in Busoga region and its surrounding districts through Entertainment, Mobilisation, Education and Effective communication programming. It broadcasts in 3 languages mainly; Lusoga, Luganda and English.

The African Nations Championship (CHAN) Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has warned fans planning to attend the Quarter Final game between Uganda Cranes and Senegal at Namboole Stadium on Saturday, to avoid wearing 'offensive' jerseys

Fans have been flocking Namboole donned in jerseys branded with viral social media slangs but while speaking at the Uganda Media Centre, Diana Nabuuso, a member of the LOC Communications and Signage Committee, warned that supporters wearing jerseys with inappropriate inscriptions will not be allowed to enter the stadium!

The NRM Election Disputes Tribunal has nullified the election of Maganda Emmanuel Katooko as the NRM flag bearer for Bukono Constituency MP and ordered fresh elections in Kibaale Subcounty and Kibaale Town Council within 21 days!

According to the Tribunal;
✓The tallying process did not conform to NRM Regulations, and the election was not conducted in accordance with the law.
✓The irregularities surrounding tallying, particularly the unexplained issuance of a declaration form without a concluded tally, substantially affected the result.

Notably, Bukono County MP and State Minister for Housing, Hon Persis Namuganza, who was the Petitioner, had decided to run as an independent candidate! However, she has hailed the Tribunal for standing on the side of truth, saying the decision restores hope in internal party democracy!
