One of the highlights of the AIDS 2026 Exhibition was discovering, for the first time, an innovative HIV self-testing kit that uses urine instead of blood.
It was exciting to see how innovation is making HIV testing easier, more comfortable, and more accessible. Such technologies have the potential to increase testing uptake, promote early diagnosis, and bring us closer to ending HIV as a public health threat.
The exhibition continues to showcase groundbreaking ideas and solutions that are transforming HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and care. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and be part of these global conversations at AIDS 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
