The initiative is spearheaded by Hon. Ali Yusuf Ali-Hoosh, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation of the FGS. Upon his arrival in Las Anod, the capital of SSC-Khaatumo, Minister Ali-Hoosh received a warm welcome from the SSC-Khaatumo Minister of Interior, the Mayor of Las Anod, and various community representatives, signaling local support for the federal government's involvement.โฃ

Central to the process, Minister Ali-Hoosh, accompanied by other FGS officials, held a crucial meeting with Mr. Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw Ali Firdhiye, the leader of the SSC-Khaatumo administration. This meeting underscored the federal government's commitment to finalizing the administrative structure of SSC-Khaatumo.โฃ

In parallel, a dedicated Technical Committee of the Federal Government has been actively engaged in extensive consultative meetings to ensure an inclusive and consensus-driven state-building process. The committee held pivotal discussions with Mr. Mohamed Abdi Ismail (Shiine), the Deputy Leader of SSC-Khaatumo, to gather essential insights and recommendations.

Further expanding its outreach, the Technical Committee also met with a diverse group of politicians and candidates from SSC-Khaatumo, seeking to incorporate their perspectives and foster a unified approach. The consultations extended to regional stakeholders, with the Technical Committee holding a key meeting with leaders representing the community of the Sanaag region, led by Hon. Mohamud Ahmed Geesood, the FGS Minister of Commerce. This engagement specifically focused on incorporating Sanaag's community views into the finalization of the SSC-Khaatumo administration.

In a move to leverage past experiences, the Federal-level Technical Committee also convened with members of the Committee of 33 for Self-Determination of SSC-Khaatumo.
