President Museveni today, together with President William Ruto, presided over the groundbreaking of the USD 500 million Devki Mega Steel Plant in Tororo. The investment by Dr. Narendra Raval marks a major step in adding value to Uganda’s minerals, creating jobs, and reducing the country’s dependence on steel imports.

The integrated plant will employ more than 15,000 Ugandans and strengthens regional cooperation, with President Museveni appreciating President Ruto for encouraging the investor to set up in Uganda. He also congratulated Dr. Raval for committing to full value addition, including the upcoming Kabale iron ore project.

FRIDAY It's a Day for JUMAH PRAYER 🙏🤲
Today, we pray for those in pain, the sick, the grieving, and the struggling.
We ask Allah to bring them healing, patience, and ease.
May no soul suffer alone, and may each difficulty be replaced with comfort.
And to those who’ve passed away, may Allah have mercy on their souls and reunite us with them in peace.
Bis-mil-lah 🙏🙏
