UPDATE: Prof. Jude Lubega, the Vice Chancellor of Nkumba University, alongside the University Secretary, Mr. Ssengendo Francis, carried out an inspection today to review the progress of construction at the new Wavah Centre of Excellence on the main campus. The project is nearing completion, with the state-of-the-art computer laboratories set to be officially commissioned soon.

UPDATE: A group of students from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, has arrived at Nkumba University for a clinical practice program aimed at enhancing international collaboration in health education. Led by Frederikke Madsen, the delegation was received by Vice Chancellor Prof. Jude Lubega alongside senior university officials, who hailed the partnership as a vital bridge between theory and practice.

The visiting students will participate in five interactive sessions with Nkumba University’s Nursing Department, running from November 12th to 27th, 2025. University authorities noted that the exchange aligns with Nkumba’s vision of global academic integration and is expected to foster joint research, cultural exchange, and stronger institutional ties in clinical training and education.
