A bus belonging to Gulu Secondary School carrying students to Jinja for a tour has been involved in a road crash this morning at about 5:40 a.m. along the Kiryandongo–Kigumba road.

According to reports, the accident happened when the bus driver attempted to overtake another vehicle and collided head-on with a Fuso truck traveling in the opposite direction.

The bus conductor died on the spot, while 17 students sustained injuries.

The injured students are currently admitted Hospital for treatment.
