gy Foundation.OFAB is designed and mandated to bring together stake holders in biotechnology and enable their effective interactions. This provides key stake holders an opportunity to know one another,share knowledge and experiences, make new contacts and explore new avenues of bringing the benefits of biotechnology to the ugandan and african agricultural sector. OFAB also provides an avenue to make formal presentations or informal discusions focusing on the relationships between science,technology,inovation,religion,environmental protection,policy,trade,social benefits sharing and their impacts on economic development. one of OFAB strategic focus areas is advocacy,engagement, net working and to achieve this, OFAB Paetners with other like minded orgarnisation like National Agriculture Reseach Institute (NARO), Uganda Biotechnology and Biosafety Consortium (UBBC), African Biotechnology Network of Expertise(ABNE), Association for strenghening research in east and central africa (ASARECA),Science for livelihood and development (SCIFODE),Consumer education trust and the ministry of agriculture.
