My name is Jeremiah Keeya Mwanje, LCV Councilor Kasubi Parish, Lubaga North 1.

I am aspiring to become the speaker KCCA
The council has 54 members; 42NUP, 7NRM, 1independent NRM leaning, 4 FDC and Lord Mayor FDC.

Among the issues I want to deal with include but not limited to;
1). Lack of clear leadership in markets, parks & how to choose it.

2). Unnecessary arrest of traders & excessive force.

3). Double payment of taxes and again garbage fees makes some of traders unable to pay both.

4). Proper drainage and garbage disposal plan.

5). Helping boda bodas and taxis drivers in the city.

6). Welfare of the councilors.

I believe in;

1). Identifying such problems and bringing the team together to come up with immediate and long term solutions.

2). A speaker who is a good listener & a good organizer is able to bring people of differing ideas and views together for the benefit of the common Kampala dwellers.

3). Being a lawyer by profession gives me the ability to work closely with the lord mayor, executive director but most importantly makes me able to analyze the issues affecting our people and suggest probable solutions together with my team.

I believe in a development in Kampala which should be centered around the common people.
