Ugandan music star Jose Chameleone has canceled his trip and rushed back home after his younger brother, Weasel Manizo, was reportedly injured in a domestic incident.
Sources say Weasel was knocked down by a car allegedly driven by his wife. He is now receiving treatment as police look into the case.

The business and political communities are mourning the loss of Musinguzi Garuga, a highly respected and prominent Ugandan businessman, who passed away after a long illness. His death marks the end of an era for one of Uganda’s most influential figures in both the private sector and civic leadership.

Late Musinguzi Garuga James
Garuga, widely known for his sharp business acumen and philanthropic efforts, had built a strong legacy in sectors ranging from education and agriculture to hospitality and transport. He was the founder and chairman of Kinkiizi Development Company and Garuga Group of Companies, ventures that not only created employment but also contributed significantly to the development of Uganda’s rural economy.

Beyond his business achievements, Musinguzi Garuga was also known for his passionate involvement in community development. He championed education initiatives in his home region of Kanungu and was instrumental in improving infrastructure and social services. Many remember him as a generous and visionary leader who never lost touch with his roots.

Political leaders and dignitaries across the country have expressed their condolences. President [Name] described him as β€œa patriotic son of Uganda whose contributions to national development will be remembered for generations.” Several members of Parliament also paid tribute to his leadership and commitment to uplifting the lives of ordinary Ugandans.

Garuga is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren, who have pledged to continue his legacy of service and development.
Funeral arrangements are underway, with a public memorial service expected to take place in Kampala before his burial in his ancestral home in Kanungu district.
Uganda has indeed lost a towering figure β€” a man whose name was synonymous with enterprise, integrity, and service.
