The Archbishop of Uganda, His Grace Steven Kazimba Mugalu, has called on the Tooro Royal Family and the people of Tooro to remain united during the period of mourning.

In his sermon during the send off service for fallen Tooro King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV at St Johns Cathedral in Fort Portal City, Kazimba has urged the people to seek God as their refuge, stressing that unity is crucial during times of grief.

Archbishop Kazimba says grief should not divide the people but instead bring them together to strengthen the kingdom.

He has also cautioned the public to carefully choose their words during mourning, warning that hurtful statements could cause pain and damage the legacy of the late King and the Kingdom.

He says moments of grief can trigger historical conflicts, urging the people to remain united, forgive the past and work together for a better future.
