Rwandan cinema continues to make its mark on the international stage as Ben’Imana, the debut feature film by Rwandan filmmaker Marie-Clémentine Dusabejambo, gains global recognition at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
The film, which explores reconciliation, trauma, resilience, and the strength of Rwandan women in the aftermath of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, has drawn attention for its authentic storytelling and powerful performances from professional Rwandan actors.
