From Mon Town by Brazen Rule and Vera and gere it is with the top Notch Music Manager Mr. Lincoln Feroh the CEO of Blaqboy Pictures and Entertainment Africa who recently signed a new artist to his camp.

Just after his signings, he has started showing signs of progress with night shift and endless moves to make ends meet in the contract agreement signed.

Nonetheless, Lincoln has been an icon who has studied the dynamics of northern Uganda's music especially Lango music with it's downfall and is ready to revive it to the fullest.

In a recent follow-up of why and he is looking into the Goodies of Lyo Culture, he says the music is a way of saying thank you to the Luo community and Uganda at large.

A wealthy man walked into a bar in Miami.

As soon as he walked in, he noticed an African (Black) woman sitting in the corner, went to the bar, grabbed his wallet, and yelled, "Bartender! I buy drinks for everyone in this bar except for that Black woman over there!"

The bartender collected the money and began serving free drinks to everyone at the bar except the African woman.

Instead of getting upset, the black woman just looked at the guy and yelled, "Thank you."

This angered the rich man. So again, he took out his wallet and shouted, "Boy!

This time I'm buying extra bottles of wine and food for everyone in this bar except for that African woman sitting in the corner!"

The waiter collected the man's money and began serving free food and wine to everyone at the bar except the African woman.

When the waiter came to serve the food and drinks, the African woman simply smiled at the man and said, "Thank you!" Which infuriated him.

So he leaned over the counter and asked the bartender, "What's wrong with this black woman... I've bought food and alcohol for everyone in this bar except for her, and instead of being mad, she sits there, smiles at me, and yells, "Thank you!"

Is she crazy?" The bartender smiled at the rich man and said, "No, she's not crazy. She owns this place."

By wanting to harm our neighbor, we often end up doing them good, without knowing it. May your enemies work in your favor without realizing it...

NRM Youth League Chairperson for Lira City, Brian Yeko Ongora, Also known as WWII Awobe has launched a youth-led charity initiative dubbed “Team 5K”, aimed at supporting vulnerable groups across Northern Uganda.

The initiative, launched at Ngetta Baby’s Home, mobilizes youth to contribute UGX 5,000 each month.

With a target of 100 active members, Team 5K expects to raise UGX 500,000 monthly to assist orphans, the sick, prisoners, and other marginalized individuals.

Ongora said the drive is about building a culture of giving and proving that meaningful impact does not require wealth or status.

He noted that the team’s first outreach focused on Ngetta Baby’s Home, where they donated milk, sugar, bread, diapers, and detergents to support 45 abandoned babies under the age of one.

He also used the platform to speak on youth issues including unemployment, gender-based violence, poor mental health, and lack of vocational skills.

He called for sanitary pad distribution to keep girls in school and announced plans to form health clubs to educate young people on nutrition and reproductive health.

Lira Resident City Commissioner Lawrence Egole, who officiated the launch, commended Ongora for turning words into action.

He said youth challenges must be addressed by the youth themselves and accepted to serve as Team 5K’s patron.

Sister Demmy Frances, the administrator of Ngetta Baby’s Home, described the donation as timely.

She said the home is struggling following the withdrawal of donor support and now relies solely on community goodwill.

She raised concerns about lack of a perimeter fence, unpaid utility bills, and feeding costs. She also appealed to Lira City Council for permission to rent out unused structures for income, but Mayor Sam Atul instead advised the home to pursue agriculture for sustainability.

Alyela Denis Omodi Commences Campaign for NRM Candidacy for Lira City East Parliamentary Seat

On July 3rd, 2025, Alyela Denis Omodi officially launched his campaign for the Parliamentary seat representing Lira City East, under the banner of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Flagship.

Lira City East is currently witnessing a competitive race with three candidates vying for the NRM Flagship. These candidates include Francis Okello Opio, a presidential advisor in the Lango region, Alyela Denis Omodi, a civil servant, and Ogwal Umar Kanjule, a businessman.

During a press briefing held today, Alyela appealed to the media to disseminate accurate information to the voters, urging them to avoid propaganda that could lead to discord.

He acknowledged the challenges of the parliamentary race, asserting that he is the only candidate who has withstood the test of time.

"I was arrested by the LRA in 1991 and studied at Ngetta Girls, which has given me insight into the educational hardships and the lives of the people in Lira City. This experience makes me the most suitable candidate for Lira City East," stated Alyela Omodi.

When questioned by the press about his strategy to engage with the city’s opposition leaders, Alyela expressed that there is no longer an opposition presence in Lira City.

"There is no opposition party in Lira City. Previously, there was only the UPC before the 2021 general election, but now the UPC has integrated into the NRM, and we are united as one family without competition. Our primary goal is to advance Lira City," remarked Alyela Denis Omodi.

Furthermore, Alyela Omodi is committed to ensuring the rapid improvement of the road infrastructure in Lira City East to facilitate business and development.

He emphasized that Lira City is renowned for its business potential, and it is essential to have optimal roads to support smooth business operations.
