A suspected bodaboda thief has been killed by a mob group of bodaboda cyclists and Community residents in Namwiwa Town in Kaliro District neighboring Pallisa.

By press time, Police officers from Namwiwa Police Post were still stranded with un indentified body.

Pallisa People decided to replace Four (4) of their Incumbents (Current MPs) sending them back home as they prepare their retirement come Jan 2026 - General Elections.

Oseku Richard - MP Kibale County
Ochwa David - MP Agule County
Otukol Sam - MP Pallisa County
Kaala Kevin - WMP Pallisa District.

Government Summons District Engineer on 1 billion Road Mantainance Accountability.

Speaker Anita Among ordered an investigation into Buyende district leadership's handling of road maintenance funds as she flagged off the grading of all impassable feeder roads in the district.

While on her community empowerment tour in Buyende, the Speaker Among noted that several community-access roads were impassable despite Parliament allocating each district Shs1billion annually for road maintenance.

She summoned the district engineer to bring the road equipment on site and ensure that all the bad roads are rehabilitated.

Among the roads includes the 3km Bugaya-Gwase road in Budiope East County.

Pallisa County - NRM Parliamentary Primaries emerge as the orphaned County started it's journey to replace Sam Otukol (incumbent) who dropped his county before the term ended & ran to Agule County with the same intention of being a Parliamentary Representative which was all in vein.

Ibrahim Aisu garnered 10,607 votes on position Number 2 and lost it to Sam Otukol, followed third by Opolot Jacob with 6,918 votes during 2021 General Elections.

A Total of 76.2% sampled voters said they will vote for Ibrahim Aisu as their Member of Parliament.

The Pallisa County Parliamentary race has attracted a number of candidates that include Arecho Julius, Kadimba Patrice etc who are hoping to represent in the NRM Primaries.

Making rounds in the county, temperatures in Agule County are high due to a number of candidates ready to unseat Ochwa David who is strongly in the Race.

TENSION IS MOUNTING IN PALLISA DISTRICT LC5 NRM - FLAG BEARER.

Duuchu Patrick (incumbent) has lost popularity to a Young Political Candidate - Okiria Ben who is hitting him hands down across the District.

Patrick who is going through a hard moment of rejection across the District is still contented in the race ready to flag off the 2 Aspirants - Outa Engorit & Hon.Okiria Ben.

78% of the sampled respondeds said they would vote for Hon. Okiria Ben as their New District LC5 for better leadership.

This race has been dominated by two strong ladies Hon. Kaala Kevin (Incumbent) & Hon. Achola Catherine to contents for the NRM ticket.

Hon. Amoit Mariam addressing us finally gave in her statement as why she quit the game, which included a strong health factor that put her down & admitted.
