The South Sudan Youth Awards (SSYA) is an annual platform dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding South Sudanese youth and youth-led entities. SSYA aims to highlight youth excellence in leadership, entrepreneurship, technology, media, arts, sports, community service, and activism, providing well-deserved recognition to individuals and initiatives shaping the countryβs future.
Beyond recognition, SSYA serves as a platform for engagement, collaboration, and dialogue, bringing together youth, government, civil society, NGOs, international organizations, and development partners to appreciate and amplify the role of youth people in South Sudanβs development.
The inaugural edition of the South Sudan Youth Awards (SSYA) will provide South Sudanese youth with an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, celebrate youth impact, and engage with key stakeholders on critical issues such as youth empowerment, peace, national unity, and socio-economic development.
This edition features 36 categories of recognition, honorary awards, keynote speeches, and high-level discussions, making SSYA 2025 a unique opportunity to acknowledge, inspire, and connect those working toward South Sudanβs progress.
