UPDATE: (Frame one) National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi's chief bodyguard, Edward Ssebufu (C) being supported by two people as he limps to court cells at Masaka High Court where he's expected to be charged with a yet to be known offence after spending over a week in the 'basement' of President Museveni's son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who serves as the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).
Mr Ssebuffu, popularly known as Eddie Mutwe was reportedly abducted by security operatives from Mukono District on April 27, 2025, but his whereabouts were unknown for days until Muhoozi Kainerugaba last week admitted holding him in his basement.
He was dropped at court by security operatives who have barred journalists from getting closer to him or covering his case.

🇺🇬President Museveni’s son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has allegedly shared an image showing Bobi Wine’s bodyguard, Eddie Mutwe, with his head forcibly shaved. In a post on his purported X handle, Muhoozi claims that Mutwe is being detained by SFC (Special Forces Command) soldiers in a basement in Makindye.

📌He further stated that his soldiers are teaching Mutwe to speak Runyankore, despite reports that Mutwe is crying and in distress.

📌Muhoozi concluded with a warning: “There’s nothing you can do to me. Bobi Wine, you’re next"
