I denied the opportunity to serve at Uganda Christian University as a tutor after getting a First Class Hons. in Theology to go and serve as a clergy in my home diocese, not because I did not like such big opportunity, but because I was faithful to The Lord and the diocese which had paid my tuition. Even when I was posted in a village church parish, I remained faithful and served the Lord with all my heart. But now The Lord has paid me more than my sacrifice! I cannot regret! at West Buganda Diocese .

HISTORIC MILESTONE: Bishop Nsereko Confirms 218 in Inaugural Pastoral Visit to All Saints Nyendo

MASAKA CITY, OCTOBER 12, 2025 – All Saints Nyendo Church of Uganda was the focus of a major spiritual event today as the Rt. Rev. Gaster Nsereko, Bishop of West Buganda Diocese, has completed his first pastoral visit to All Saints Nyendo Church of Uganda since his consecration.

While the Bishop has visited other parishes in the Diocese, this formal Pastoral Visit marked a significant and joyous occasion for the Nyendo community.

In the deeply spiritual service, Bishop Nsereko confirmed a staggering 218 children to Christianity, welcoming them fully into the Anglican Church of Uganda.

The Bishop's Powerful Message:

Addressing the congregation, Bishop Nsereko strongly urged the newly confirmed, and all Christians, to seriously uphold the promises they make with God. He emphasized that a promise is a profound debt, stating that confirmation vows are subject to heavenly law and must be fulfilled once made.
