The High Court in Kampala has given self-exiled president of the Uganda Law Society Isaac Ssemakadde temporary relief by halting the ex*****on of his arrest warrant.

Presiding Judge Paul Wolimbwa reasoned that in the interest of justice, the arrest warrant against Ssemakadde is halted pending the determination of an appeal before the High Court.

Pope Francis has died on Easter Monday, the Vatican confirmed this morning. The announcement was made at 9:45 AM by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Camerlengo of the Apostolic Chamber, from the Casa Santa Marta.
