Singer Iryn Namubiru has shocked fans after revealing that it’s been 11 years since she last spoke to her own mother.

According to Iryn, her heartbreak began when she discovered that her mother was part of a secret deal to sneak drugs (ecstasy) into her luggage as she traveled to Japan — fully aware of the deadly consequences if she got caught.

Even more shocking, Iryn claims she has recorded evidence of her mother negotiating the deal, and she has included instructions in her will for this audio to be played publicly at her funeral .

Now the big question is: those who always say “Omuzadde tasobya” (a parent can never be wrong)… What’s your take on this?.

The National Resistance Movement - NRM's Electoral Commission has officially declared the winners of the Central Executive Committee elections. The winners include President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as NRM Chairperson (unopposed), Al Hajj Moses Kigongo as NRM Vice Chairperson (unopposed), and Rt Hon Anitah Annet Among as NRM Vice Chairperson (Female) with 11,680 votes (92.8%). Other winners are Calvin Martin Echodu as NRM Vice Chairperson for Eastern Region with 5,211 votes (99.5%), Loki John Baptist as NRM Vice Chairperson for Karamoja Sub Region with 3,694 votes (81%), Dennis Hamson Obua as NRM Vice Chairperson for Northern Uganda with 3,591 votes (67.4%), Asiimwe Jonard as NRM Vice Chairperson for Western Region with 4,044 votes (53.9%), Salim Saad Uhuru as NRM Vice Chairperson for Kampala Region with 2,411 votes (63%), and Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo as NRM Vice Chairperson for Central Region with 4,194 votes (51.3%).

A tragic accident occurred at approximately 5:30 am today in Zigoti, Mityana District, along the Mubende-Kampala Road, claiming the lives of 2 pupils and injuring 11 others. The vehicle involved was a bus, UAP 829U, operated by HMK Transporters Ltd., which was transporting students, tour guides, and the Head teacher of Day Star Primary School in Makindye, Kampala, following a school tour in Kasese. As per SP Kananura Michael, Traffic Police Spokesperson, the driver allegedly fell asleep while driving, resulting in the bus overturning. The accident resulted in the instantaneous deaths of 2 pupils, with 11 others, comprising 4 tour guides and the Headteacher, suffering injuries.
