The FDC flag bearer for the 2026 Presidential elections Nathan Nandala Mafabi has assured ugandans that the money they received under the Parish Development Model PDM will not be paid back if he is elected president of Uganda.
He said this while addressing supporters who had gathered to listen to his message of hope at Aromo trading center in Aromo trading subcounty in lira district and Kwania district.
Addressing supporters Nandala said ugandans are facing too much poverty and are unable to repay back the PDM money.
He also criticized the way in which the PDM program was handled saying it only benefited the big fish and locals continued suffering because they received far far less than the agreed amount of one million.
Nandala also promised ugandans that his government will be giving out 100m per village every financial year to foster development from village level

The FDC presidential team has had rough face offs with police in the past three days as they traverse the country in search of votes.
The party leaders have had running battles with police in the districts of Kagadi,Hoima City and Masindi.
The residents of Kagadi were treated to a free show as police blocked the FDC team and supporters from accessing their venue to hold their rally, this made the FDC presidential candidate hold his rally in the middle of the road in Kagadi town.
In Hoima all roads that lead to the town center were blocked and heavily guarded by the Uganda police and the army. The FDC was set to hold its rally at Buma Grounds.
This act paralyzed security for over two hours as the FDC supporters tried to engage police for a way into the city.
In Hoima City the presidential candidate Nathan Nandala Mafabi moved out of his vehicle and resorted to walking to the venue but still in vain due to heavy security presence in the city center, this made him to again hold his rally on the busy market Street of hoima.
In Masindi chaos Erupted when a police vehicle knocked the Ntv vehicle as they tried to block the FDC presidential candidate Nathan Nandala Mafabi from accessing the town center.
Here the FDC supporters became rowdy and had a bitter exchange with the police and army.
As the FDC presidential team headed to town all roads leading to the market center were sealed off by the heavy presence of both police and the army.
The FDC presidential candidate Nathan Nandala Mafabi has hit the lango region with his message of hope fixing the economy and putting money in the pockets of ugandans.
