as grown to a level of leading FM Radio Station in Eastern Uganda with an optimum coverage of over 31 districts of Eastern Uganda and beyond viz; Mbale, Manafwa, Sironko, Bududa, Butaleja, Moroto, Amuria, Bukeadea, Kumi, Soroti, Kapchorwa, Bukwo, Western Kenya, Tororo, Busia, Bugiri, Jinja, Iganga, Mayuge, Kayunga, Pallisa, Budaka, Namutumba just to mention but a few with a total footage radius of over 150 Kilometers. OpenGate Fm is also on line on www.opengatefmmbale.com. Given the many dialects in Eastern Uganda, our programs are designed to cut across a contemporary community of people by broadcasting in a number of languages particularly those well understood by numerous communities in Eastern Part of Uganda. Some of the most used languages we broadcast in include: Lumasaba, Luganda, Lugwere, Lunyole, Ateso, Lusamia, Lusoga and English. Our Broadcast studios and offices are located at Plot 58/60 Nkonjeru Court Road in the Heart of Mbale City and our programs are well multiplexed and sent by microwave link for Transmission at our most strategic and suitably chosen Wanale Hill at the foots of Mountain Elgon just in the good vicinity of Mbale Town. OpenGate FM is a 24/7 broadcast station with programs targeting all the contemporary communities both rural and urban covering all ages socially, economically, politically etc.
