Uganda has completed 20,000 capacity Hoima City Stadium and 2,000 capacity Hoima City Arena at a cost of $130 million ahead of the 2027 AFCON. Uganda will co-host the tournament.
Plans are underway for the official grand opening of Hoima Stadium!

NOTICE: A section of Mbarara-Ishaka road temporarily closed!
The section from Km 3+500 (at Ruharo) to Km 3+900 (roundabout at Buffalo restaurant) will be closed due to emergency maintenance works at Km 3+700 (at Woodland Gardens). The works will take place on Friday, 7th November 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight).
