President Donald Trump is pushing back hard after a classified intelligence assessment appeared to undermine his bold claims about the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran. The preliminary report, leaked to CNN and The New York Times, suggests that the attacks on three Iranian nuclear sites did not destroy the country’s nuclear program, but likely delayed it by only a few months. This directly contradicts Trump’s repeated boasts of “complete and total obliteration.” Furious at the coverage, Trump lashed out on Truth Social late Tuesday night. “FAKE NEWS CNN, TOGETHER WITH THE FAILING NEW YORK TIMES, HAVE TEAMED UP IN AN ATTEMPT TO DEMEAN ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL MILITARY STRIKES IN HISTORY,” he wrote....

In the early hours of 26 May, Ukraine faced one of its most aggressive aerial assaults in recent weeks. The Russian dictator launched a coordinated overnight attack consisting of nine Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles and a staggering 355 Iranian-made Shahed drones and similar UAVs against Ukrainian territory. But thanks to Ukraine’s robust and determined air defence forces, every single missile was successfully intercepted, and 288 out of the 355 drones were neutralised. The missiles were fired from Tu-95MS strategic bombers based in Russia’s Saratov region. The drone swarm originated from several Russian and occupied Crimean areas, including Bryansk, Millerovo, Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko Akhtarsk and Chauda in Crimea....

The Kremlin has once again attempted to justify its deadly attacks on Ukrainian civilians by falsely claiming they are military targets. This time, the excuse comes after a devastating overnight assault on the Odessa region, where Russian drones struck residential areas, injuring at least one child and damaging private homes. Dmitry Peskov, press secretary for the Russian dictator, declared that the attacks were a response to alleged Ukrainian strikes on Russian “social infrastructure”. Without presenting evidence, Peskov claimed these were retaliatory attacks targeting military facilities, not civilians. However, the facts on the ground paint a very different picture....

Russia’s only real chance of securing any form of victory in its war of aggression against Ukraine is the complete halting of Western military aid to Kyiv, according to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). The report highlights that the Russian military is suffering from growing losses, slowing advances, and increased dependence on untrained and poorly equipped infantry units. Despite these mounting setbacks, the Russian dictator continues to rely on a mix of long range missile strikes, psychological pressure, and media manipulation to try and weaken the resolve of both Ukrainians and their international supporters....

Russia continues its violent campaign against Ukraine while falsely claiming it seeks peace. According to the Centre for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, the Kremlin is preparing new rounds of combined missile and drone attacks, even as it pushes propaganda toward Western nations suggesting it wants to end the war. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation, wrote on Telegram that the Russian information space shows no intention to stop the war. Instead, internal Russian communication channels signal preparations for more attacks. Messages about so-called peace are only aimed at Western countries to manipulate public opinion abroad and slow down foreign support for Ukraine....

Ukrainian air defense forces may be forced to reduce their use of interceptors as the Kremlin ramps up drone attacks to an industrial scale. According to The Economist, Russia is now producing 500 attack drones each day, raising the possibility of daily strikes involving up to 1,000 drones targeting Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. A year ago, an overnight attack involving 30 drones was considered extraordinary. Today, it is tragically routine. The Kremlin, under the command of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, is accelerating its drone programme dramatically. Ukrainian military intelligence has obtained documents revealing Russia’s intention to manufacture up to 500 Shahed-style drones daily....

The war in Ukraine has entered a new, more dangerous phase. Following a massive multi day drone and missile attack against Ukrainian civilian cities, it is clear Russian dictator Putin never intended to negotiate a ceasefire. This devastating assault came after Donald Trump seemingly abandoned any attempts at peace talks, effectively giving the Russian dictator permission to escalate the conflict. The recent Russian attacks included the launch of nine Iskander ballistic missiles, 55 cruise missiles, four guided air missiles, and 298 Shahed drones, targeting civilian areas and infrastructure across Ukraine. The attacks have resulted in civilian deaths and injuries, with targets including the port of Odessa, a crucial lifeline for global food supplies....

As of 6 o’clock this morning, not a single Russian warship was spotted in the Black Sea or the Sea of Azov, according to a statement from the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The sudden disappearance of enemy ships from these strategic waters comes as Ukraine’s naval drone capabilities continue to improve and Moscow’s fleet grows increasingly vulnerable. While the Black Sea was clear, the Ukrainian Navy confirmed the presence of three Russian vessels in the Mediterranean Sea. One of these ships is armed with up to eight Kalibr cruise missiles, part of the Russian Federation’s long range strike capabilities....

United States President Donald Trump has expressed vague dissatisfaction with the recent behaviour of Russian war criminal Vladimir Putin, admitting in a televised interview that he is “not happy” with Russia’s continued assault on Ukraine. Speaking with Sky News, Trump said he does not understand “what the hell happened” to Putin, despite years of boasting about their supposedly good relationship. “I have known him for a long time. Always got along with him,” Trump said before quickly pivoting to criticism. “But he launches rockets at cities and kills people, and I don’t like it....

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s loyal ally, Dmitry Medvedev, has once again taken to social media to threaten Ukraine with complete absorption into a so-called “buffer zone”. The Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council posted a provocative map showing almost the entire territory of Ukraine marked as Russian-occupied, apart from a thin western strip near the Polish border which he labelled “Ukraine”. The threat came with a caption stating that if “military assistance to the Bandera regime continues, the buffer zone will look like this.” The post was widely mocked online and dismissed as another piece of unhinged propaganda by the Kremlin....

Russia’s delusional ambition to swallow more of Ukraine has been laid bare by new analysis showing the staggering costs it would incur. According to the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW), it would take Russian forces approximately 91 years to capture the so-called “buffer zone” proposed by Dmitry Medvedev, a senior figure in the Russian dictatorship and close ally of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Medvedev, currently Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, recently posted an infographic on social media platform X depicting a Ukraine almost entirely absorbed into Russian control....
