Honored to meet the great man of God, Bishop David kiganda , who shared words of divine direction, wisdom, and prayer as we embark on our mandate in the 12th Parliament.

I am deeply grateful for his guidance and blessings as I serve the people of Mukono District and take on my responsibilities as Shadow Minister for Information and Anti-Corruption.

I also took the opportunity to thank Bishop Kiganda for the platform he gave me through Kingdom TV. At the time I first expressed interest in contesting for the position of Woman Member of Parliament, Kingdom TV was the first television station to host me. That opportunity opened many doors and played a significant role in my leadership journey. I remain grateful for the support and encouragement he extended to me at such a pivotal moment.

May God continue to guide and strengthen us as we serve our people with integrity, humility, and dedication.

A very happy birthday to me. I am completely fortified and proud of the woman I have become.

I will never forget the good Lord who has carried me through all these years with grace and mercy.

I have witnessed the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. He turned my life around and completely restored me.

I have a story to tell. One day, it will be documented for the world to know the God I sing about every day.

I would like to sincerely thank the leadership of the National Unity Platform led by our President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu for the trust and confidence bestowed upon me through my appointment to the Shadow Cabinet as Shadow Minister for Information and Anti-Corruption.

This opportunity is not one I take lightly. I remain committed to serving Ugandans with integrity, courage, and dedication as we continue the struggle for transparency, accountability, justice, and better governance for our country.

I pledge to work tirelessly with fellow leaders and the people of Uganda to amplify the voices of the oppressed, expose corruption, and defend the values we all believe in.

Together, we shall continue building a better and more democratic Uganda.

Today, I joined the Women Movement Network to strongly push for gender balance in Parliament leadership.

Since the Speaker will be male, the house needs a woman as Deputy to ensure equal opportunity for both men and women, as stated in Article 33(4).

I call upon all women MPs in the 12th Parliament to unite, and support a female candidate for Deputy Speaker.
