Wakiso Police are investigating the disappearance of two pupils from Uganda Martyrs Junior School, Kikokiro, Wakiso District.

The missing children have been identified as: Iren Ainembabazi, 9 years old and Elisa Nuwabasa 5 years old)
The two were last seen on February 21, 2025, within the school premises along Kassegejje Road, Wakiso. Preliminary investigations suggest they may have headed towards Nansana.

UPDATE: Clerk to Parliament, Adolf Mwesige has commended President Museveni for the championing drive towards women emancipation, which he says has led to increase of women emancipation from just two women representatives in Parliament in 1962 to now 186 female MPs.

He made the remarks while addressing guests during the opening ceremony of today’s Women’s Parliament Plenary sitting that is currently underway at Parliament.
