Tension between Madi Okollo and Terego districts has escalated over the ownership of several schools in the Rhino Camp refugee settlement, including Ocea, Odobu, Ariazi, Ariwa and Yoro Primary Schools. Youth from Madi Okollo’s Rigbo Subcounty have closed Ocea Primary School and taken administrative items, as both districts continue to claim authority over the institutions. The longstanding boundary dispute has disrupted operations in the schools, health facilities and local councils, leaving pupils and patients stranded.
