NRM Candidate Nyakecho Annet Amella Officially Nominated
Tororo, Uganda – The National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Tororo North County, Hon. Nyakecho Annet Amella, has officially been nominated, pledging to lead with integrity, transparency, and commitment to community transformation.
Speaking after her nomination, Hon. Nyakecho expressed deep gratitude to the people of Tororo North County for entrusting her with their support during the NRM primary elections. She described her nomination not merely as a political achievement, but as a responsibility to “serve, to lead, and to deliver” on the collective hopes of a united and empowered community.
Aligning herself with the mission of the NRM, Nyakecho emphasized her commitment to peace, development, stability, and transformation for all Ugandans, with a focus on the residents of Tororo North County.
“With humility and unwavering commitment, I launch this campaign not as a politician, but as your voice,” she said. “A voice for the youth, women, the disabled, families striving for a better future, and elders who’ve paved the way.”
Nyakecho outlined her vision for a progressive Tororo North County, highlighting plans for:
Improved education through well-equipped schools,
Enhanced agriculture with better market access and technologies,
Reliable electricity for every home,
Youth empowerment to become job creators, not just seekers.
She called on the people of Tororo North County to walk this journey with her, stating that together they will stand for “Transparency, Service, Jobs, Security, and Dignity.”
Concluding her statement, she affirmed: “Let’s write the future we deserve. The time is now.”
