In 2014, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija signed a $200m(720bn) loan agreement with China's EXIM Bank for Entebbe Airport, a loan agreement which even by his own admission was very unfavourable to Uganda. In our COSASE report on Civil Aviation Authority, we recommended that action be taken against him and others. The same gentleman recently signed another controversial agreement with VINCI coffee company.
Why is this gentleman and others like him still in office!!
