Lord, forgive me for every time I’ve treated Your blessings as ordinary.

For every prayer I’ve forgotten You answered.

For every season I’ve spent focused on “more” instead of appreciating what You’ve already provided.

Help me to always remember what Paul learned: that true contentment isn’t found in my circumstances -

It’s found in Christ. 🙏🤎✝️

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:12-13 📖

Surrender and control cannot sit on the throne of my heart at the same time.

I want the plan.
God wants my trust.

I want the timeline.
God wants my obedience.

I want the details.
God asks for faith.

Surrender isn’t giving up on what God can do.

It’s giving over what I was never meant to carry in the first place.

And every time I place it back in His hands, I find peace waiting there.🙏✝️

Faith often looks like obedience before understanding.

Abraham started walking before he knew the destination.

Peter stepped out before he knew he’d stay above the waves.

The servants poured water before they saw wine.

And right now, I myself, am taking small obedient steps each day toward a promise I believe the Lord has given me - with no clear picture of how it’s all going to work out.

But I’ve learned that God rarely reveals the entire path.

He simply asks us to trust Him enough to take the next step.

And that’s enough.🙏🤎✝️

One of the most powerful sermons you’ll ever preach may never come from a stage…

It may come from the way you treat people.

The patience you show when you’re frustrated.
The grace you extend when someone doesn’t deserve it.
The kindness you offer when nobody is watching.
The hope you carry in incredibly difficult seasons.

People may never open a Bible.

👉 But they will notice how a follower of Jesus lives.

This doesn’t mean we never share the gospel with our words - we absolutely should. 💯 But our words carry far more weight when our lives reflect the One we’re talking about.

May we be people who make others curious about Jesus by the way we love, serve, forgive, and live.🥰

Because for many people, we may be the closest glimpse of Christ they encounter today.🙏✝️🤎

Jean Damren I miss you!

I stopped chasing people and started pursuing God. I let go of this idea of who I should be, and embraced who God has called me to bring. I surrounded myself with those bearing fruit, instead of sheep’s clothing, and I am walking in the promises of the protection of the Great I Am. 💃🏼🔥🛡️⚔️🙌🏽🎚️🦅

The enemy would love for you to believe that reading God’s Word isn’t really necessary….

That you’ll be fine without it.
That you’re too busy.
That you’ll make time tomorrow.

But God’s Word isn’t just another item on a checklist.

It’s truth in a world full of confusion.
Peace in the middle of chaos.
Strength when you’re weary.
Direction when you’re unsure what to do next.

I’ve never regretted spending time in God’s Word.

But I’ve definitely felt the difference when I neglected it.🙏🤎

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 📖✝️
