True Story ✌🏾

Let’s break this down and take a deeper look at deception—because lying isn’t always as obvious as we think.
4 Types of Deception
1️⃣ Half-Truths
Telling part of the truth while leaving out key details that would change the full picture.
🔹 Example: Saying, “I was at the restaurant,” but leaving out the fact that you were there with someone you shouldn’t have been.
2️⃣ Twisted Truths
Manipulating facts to create a false impression.
🔹 Example: Someone asks, “Did you say that about me?” and you respond, “I would never say that to them,” (implying you didn’t say it—when in reality, you did, just not to that person).
3️⃣ Omitted Details
Purposely leaving out key facts to mislead someone.
🔹 Example: Not mentioning you saw your ex at an event when your partner specifically asked who was there.
4️⃣ Intentional Misrepresentation
Using words or actions to create a false reality, even if what you’re saying isn’t technically untrue.
🔹 Example: Smiling and acting supportive of someone while secretly working against them behind their back.
Truth Check: The Real Question
Ask yourself: Am I saying this to protect the truth or to manipulate how someone sees the situation?
If the goal is to control the narrative rather than be honest, it’s deception—plain and simple.
🔥 Lies don’t have to be spoken—they can be sculpted. Be real, be honest, be accountable.
