Aberdeen Public Schools will dismiss classes at noon Wednesday, April 2 because of the weather, according to an email from the school district.

The Aberdeen Family Y Youth Development Center will not be able to pick up students today. The Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen Area, Ride Line and school district buses will pick up students at noon.

Aberdeen was in a winter weather advisory as of 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, with snow expected to continue most of the day.

The Presentation sisters announced the motherhouse, or the main convent, which was also used for academic classrooms for Presentation College, is going to be deconstructed. The process allows for the development of future plans by the sisters.
