Aberdeen Community Concert Association Announces Shaun Johnson Big Band Experience Christmas Concert

The ACCA Board is excited to announce the Shaun Johnson Big Band Experience– “Candy Cane Lane Holiday Show is coming to Aberdeen as a special Christmas Holiday Show on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 4:00 pm at the Johnson Fine Arts Center.
Emmy Award-winning crooner Shaun Johnson and his Big Band Experience are hitting the road once again for their highly anticipated “Candy Cane Lane Holiday Tour” blending the spirit of the season with the swagger of Sinatra and the soul of a modern entertainer. Known for his smooth vocals, magnetic stage presence, and creative showmanship, Shaun Johnson has been called “a rare entertainer who channels the charm of a bygone era while making it unmistakably his own.” Backed by a powerhouse big band, Johnson and his ensemble reimagine holiday classics with energy, humor, and heart — from bold brass arrangements and lush ballads to playful audience moments that make every stop a must-see tradition
“This show feels like Christmas morning and a Vegas night all rolled into one,” Johnson says. “It’s nostalgic, unpredictable, and just plain fun. We want every audience member to walk out humming, smiling, and maybe a little teary-eyed.” Audiences can expect reimagined takes on holiday favorites such as “The Christmas Song,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” alongside original material and signature Shaun Johnson storytelling.
This special Holiday concert will not be a part of our 2025-2026 ACCA Season Membership Series and will require members to purchase a separate Holiday Show ticket to attend. However, current paid members will be offered a discount on the show ticket over the regular ticket price non-members pay. The cost for adult and student ACCA "paid" members will be $25/ticket and non-members will pay $35/adult and $25/student. Show tickets are available at the ACCA Box Office at Interior Design Concepts located at 21 North Main Street, non-members can purchase tickets on line at www.AberdeenCommunityConcerts.org or on the night of the concert.
