September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month. The City of Ocean Shores City Council announced a proclamation supporting National Library Card Sign-Up Month. The library staff had information tables at three local businesses this week and issued library cards to residents, non-residents and children. Thanks to Ocean Shores IGA, Ocean Sunset Drug, and Buck Electric Ace Hardware for your support of this outreach. It was a successful endeavor, many people received their library cards and discovered all of the services and activities that are offered for all ages.

The comment period for the Draft Comprehensive Land Use Plan closes in one week!

The Grays Harbor County Comprehensive Land Use Plan will outline how and where land use and development in unincorporated Grays Harbor County could occur over the next decade. It will guide decisions for land and resource use, including key issues such as housing needs, critical areas, transportation, local economic development, jobs and services, and future land use mapping and zoning.
