When discouragement settles deeply, it often brings a false sense of permanence. The difficult moment begins to feel like the permanent condition of your life. But feelings, no matter how intense, are not always accurate predictors of the future. Circumstances shift. Hearts heal. New strength appears in places that once felt empty. The fact that you cannot yet see the shift does not mean the shift is impossible.
You have survived before. That history is not meant to pressure you into forced positivity. It is meant to remind you that your capacity is larger than your current emotion suggests. The same inner resource that carried you through earlier valleys is still available. It may be quieter now, but it has not disappeared.
Protect the small practices that keep you connected to life: rest, honest conversation, gentle movement, moments of stillness, and words of truth spoken over yourself. These practices may feel small beside large struggles, yet they accumulate. Over time they form a foundation that can hold more than you currently imagine. Keep tending them.
