Angel Tree with The Raider is down to the wire!

George, Chad, and Dustin just finished up our Angel Tree shopping for our newborn girl and 11 year old boy to present to The Salvation Army of Abilene, Texas at our Midday Red Kettle remote at United Judge Ely tomorrow, come out and join in the fun at 10am!

Ronnie is back at the station hosting PM drive but sent some money along. We’re blessed as a staff to participate this year!

Bonus small business opportunity: the two families DID list a large gift preference when asked: a combination stroller for the newborn (approximately $250-300 cost) and a laptop for the 11 year old (approximately $500 cost). We’d need to know by in the morning, but will offer a trade of advertising to a small business that’s willing to provide either or both of these items). The Jeff Randall Project kicked off his “Keyboards for Christmas” giveaway with The Raider today at Mission Thanksgiving with his first keyboard of the season going to Love and Care Ministries to bless a family with the gift of music this holiday season! He also coordinated and led the flyover at 1:06 this afternoon.

We’re live at the annual Toys for Tots Car Show & Toy Drive at Drug Emporium, Barrow & S 27th in Abilene. Come by with a new, unwrapped toy and check out the rides! History, classic and modern muscle, best turnout in years!

1) this original, unrestored 70 Plymouth Superbird owned by Alan & Susie Spey
2) the 50 Ford flathead and 49 DeSeto
3) this prewar, 1941 Cadillac

Lots of 50s Chevy action, 55s, 57s, an original six 57 that was originally sold new in Stamford, full restorations, hot rods…

Racers, show cars, great show. Come out.
