What an experience. I could have never imagined the amount of personal growth and reflection that would occur over the past month.

Don’t get me wrong, the structure of veganism is tough. The challenges remained the same, but my mindset had changed. I had accepted that I was vegan.

It’s awfully hard to justify not doing the right thing when it is completely possible. It’s even harder to stop doing the right thing after you’ve proven that you can do it for three weeks straight.

Members of the jury, I present to you: the depression stage of veganism.

Klondike has been the mascot of Ohio Northern University for over 100 years, unifying the campus community with a fluffy white coat and vibrant personality. Let’s get to know more about these Klondike’s and how they were able to keep such a large secret from their closest relationships.

Within the first few weeks of school, our staff noticed increased absences from class, a decrease in extracurricular involvement, and an overall drowsiness amongst the student population. This observation prompted us to ask: why was everyone getting sick?

Join us as we explore this topic with industry experts and seasoned Ohio Northern professors.

For nearly ten years, I’ve only ever had an Android, at least until my last Android stopped charging… I had a choice: I could keep to the status quo and get the next version of the Android, or betray my closest friends and family with an iPhone. Same price, same service provider, same charger. The only thing I’d be risking were my blood relations and my dignity if I didn’t like it.

I went vegan for a month at Ohio Northern University.

You might be thinking, "Why would you do that to yourself?!" and the answer isn’t exactly simple. Regardless of the reason, on February 1st, 2025, I woke up and put my life of shameless meat-eating and animal product-consuming behind me for good (“for good” meaning the next 28 days).
