Emergency dispatch confirms that two people have been rescued after falling into a tank filled with chocolate at the Mars Wrigley confectionary facility in Elizabethtown. The two people were both taken to the hospital. This is a developing story. Stay with CBS 21 news for more updates.

To All Jefferson County Fire Departments,

Theresa Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Steven M. Garceau passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 20th in the Intensive Care Unit of Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Calling hours will be 5PM to 7PM on Tuesday November 30TH at the Fredrick Brothers Funeral Home in Theresa. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 1ST at 10AM. also at the Funeral Home. Any Fire Department that would like to have a piece of apparatus in the Funeral procession, is asked to meet at the Theresa Bowl parking lot [located next to the Funeral Home on State Route 37} at 9AM on December 1ST. Please contact one of the people listed below in advance if you will be attending.

The Oxbow Fire Department is building a new fire station. But, work has stalled because the money the department was awarded from New York state hasn’t fully come in.
