Mere things—however costly or lovely in themselves—cannot meet the real needs of the soul. The heart was made for God, and he alone can fill it. Self's enjoyment of the joys of this earth leaves naught but emptiness behind. The thirst of the soul cannot be quenched by the cisterns of this world.

Sharing the gospel is one of the greatest privileges—and one of the greatest responsibilities—we have as believers.

I get it—it’s not easy. Sometimes we’re afraid of losing a friendship, being misunderstood, coming across too strong or we fear rejection. But eternity is real. Heaven and hell are real. And the true gospel—Christ crucified and risen—is the only message that saves.

Life can get busy, but God’s Word should always be a priority! However, often my flesh is a priority. We will always make time for things that matter most to us. Let’s pray that God will give us hearts that hunger for his Word and that we would approach His Word with honor and privilege rather than a duty or something to check-off our lists.

Here are 4 quick & simple ways to stay connected to Scripture, even in the busiest of seasons.

What are some things you do to prioritize God’s Word every day? Let me know in the comments and let’s encourage other sisters.
