It's been too long!--this afternoon we will be conducting one of our last remote broadcasts for the school year as we cover the Addison Varsity Boys/Softball teams as they take on the Homer Trojans starting at 4 p.m. today. Mr. B and a special guest--Adrian College student teacher and baseball player Mr. Billy Bourk--will be on the coverage. It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of Bob Kevoian, beloved co-founder and longtime host of The Bob & Tom Show, who passed away peacefully Friday afternoon at his home, surrounded by family and friends. Details regarding memorial services will be shared at a later time.

Firstly, we are back from spring break! Remember to tune in each weekday to catch our student-broadcasters' live shows (see below for the days/times).

Additionally, we want to announce that tomorrow, 4/1/26, we will be conducting radio coverage of the 2026 Addison High School Career Fair. The coverage will last 1-3 p.m. and will include live commentary, interviews, and our usual mix of "today's hits and yesterday's favorites." "My name is Breckin Tedders. I am a second year student in Radio Broadcasting, and I am in the graduating class of 2026. My role at The Panther is to host a show with my crew members, and upload music into our system. My goal for radio is to learn more about working with technology. Over the next couple of weeks, we will spend some time highlighting the individual student-broadcasters that we have on our air staff this year. For today, we are focusing on our three-time radio student, Paige Cavill! See below for her bio.

"I am Paige. I’m a senior in high school, a third-year radio student, and a part of Back to the Studio. While being involved at The Panther, I am also a member of the student council and participate in sideline/competitive cheer. Radio has been a way for me to express my creativity and share my interests with the public. My goal for my final year in radio is to hopefully get more new music in for future students. Some of my favorite music artists are Tyler, The Creator, Type O Negative, and Paris Texas."

Well listeners, so concludes an interesting week! We had 4 straight snow days at Addison, so you did not hear our voices much this week. However, we will be back at it next week, including the official start of the 2nd semester. It's been quite a school year so far and we are thrilled to continue to serve our school, community, and full listenership more in the second half of the year!
