Yesterday’s tip was: Don’t skip the home inspection just because the home looks well maintained.

Why? Because some of the most important issues aren’t visible during a walkthrough. An inspection gives you a closer look at the home’s major systems and can help you make a more informed decision before moving forward.

Back to school is almost here!

Davie County Schools head back tomorrow, August 24, and this year feels a little different around here… my youngest is starting HIGH SCHOOL! How did that happen?!

Whether you’re sending your first one off to kindergarten, starting a new school, or wondering how your baby is suddenly old enough for high school like I am, I hope everyone has a great first day and an even better school year.

Here’s to a new school year, new adventures and hopefully a little less morning chaos!

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for my girl.

She officially starts her college path today, with a goal of becoming a nurse. She’s already worked hard, earned her CNA, and taken so many of the right steps to get here. Now she gets to start building toward the career she’s been working for.

I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she’s becoming. There will be challenges along the way, but I hope she always remembers that she is capable, determined, and more prepared than she probably realizes.

Keep going, sweet girl. One step at a time. Your future is just getting started, and I can’t wait to watch you make it happen. ❤️
