🚨Public Meeting Alert🚨
✅ Residents of the Gladstone community in Nelson County and other interested parties are invited to attend a Public Information Meeting regarding upcoming architectural resource survey. The meeting will take place on September 16 at 2PM at the Gladstone Volunteer Fire and Rescue building (8786 Richmond Hwy, Gladstone, VA 24553).
✅ The Gladstone community in Nelson County, Virginia, was once a rail and water transportation hub. The community will be surveyed and the history will be documented in a Preliminary Information Form by the project contractor, Mead & Hunt. This project is being supported by an Emergency Supplemental grant from the Historic Preservation Fund administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.

“Lovingston, VA - On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 1:56 A.M., Nelson County Deputies were dispatched to a residential address located at 4933 Crabtree Falls Highway, Tyro, Virginia, for a report of a male subject that had been stabbed with a knife.”
