Been awhile since I posted last and not much has changed. Still a mess on Miami drive. Dirt piled high along with building materials that are weathering away with all the rain.
The gates, wow, what do you say about the gates? How much money wasted trying to keep those things operational, yet they seem to be wide open more than ever. Our newsletter, you can find a copy at the corners of Port Duncan and Privateer in the box for those that don't get an email copy, talks of replacing the gates entirely, doing away with the guard shack or making changes of some kind. To be honest, the gates are for looks only. They are not for keeping anyone out really, no code is needed to let residents in and they can't really lock it down.
Public boat ramp, marinas for boat owners and rental craft, so why? Just money that could be better spent on infrastructure just to please a few people by saying, look we are a gated community. No, we are not, not truly.
If you read this, I urge you to speak up to the HOA board. On the newsletter their names, email addresses should be listed. Go to the meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
It is your dues money that funds these things.
Speak up, with enough support, things get done.
Talk to your neighbors, see how they feel, get them behind you.

If you are curious about this page, please feel free to post or ask a question. I will try to answer everyone as fast as possible. I will not get into any arguments, will moderate that action if neccessary and delete only if it gets vulgar or insulting of another.
I tolerate any comments that have to do with happenings in our community, or complaints if valid.

We made it through a pretty heavy snow storm recently with some pretty good plowed roads.
Not certain who or how it happened but thank you! Helped neighbors get to their routine faster and safer
