Northampton opens emergency shelter

JACKSON – Due to residential power outages caused by high wind from today’s (Friday) winter storm, Northampton County has opened an emergency shelter beginning at 6 p.m. today until further notice.
The shelter is located at the Northampton County Cultural and Wellness Center, 9536 NC 305, Jackson.
