GECKOS! ALOHA!!! Tomorrow! I need your help! What do I wear tomorrow?!!! Snorlax or Delibird???

So, Delibird isn’t 100% done, but totally wearable, so, I’ll be debuting what I got so far. (I’ll have Delibird 100% done for .) I’ve thrown in a pic of both! HELPPPP… Delibird is super cute cottagecore. Snorlax too!

Make sure to stop by, take some pictures, bring the little ones for treats and free cards. Oh and the beautiful sisters from another mista will be around, so make sure to say hi to them!!!

Dang it… Sorry friends. My dang body decided to tap out. I had everything ready to go and the car packed up for tomorrow’s show… Next time geckos! But still go check out the amazing vendors at card show tomorrow. I did take pics of my ears done before I was down for the count. I was so excited to show you guys Delibird… Stupid CVID… Stupid plasma infusions…

I will be vending at the Paradise Card Show held at the Republik on October 12! I’ll be cosplaying as Snorlax again.

I tagged as many vendors as IG would let me… 😭🤙 But check out the other Vendors on IG!

There will be a $5 admission fee that includes a raffle for free prizes! Mahalo to for hosting this show!

I’ll be bringing tons of bulk for you to sift through! Trying to complete that master set? I got chi’ fam!

Aloha geckos!

This is mostly a proof-of-life post. I’m currently on a two-week leave of absence from work due to ongoing medical issues. I’ve been fighting a stubborn infection and running fevers almost constantly.

For the photo: I’m mid-infusion. I now do weekly plasma infusions at home because of my CVID diagnosis. After a dangerous reaction in January, we switched to home infusions. A nurse trained Besto and me, and while we can manage them, they take a lot out of me.

For those new here, my body can no longer protect itself from viruses and bacteria. I rely on plasma donations to literally stay alive.

Lately, I’ve been hit with extreme fatigue and constant upper-abdominal burning. My doctors aren’t sure if it’s my MCAS, another infection, or something else. Honestly, this has been the hardest season of my life, and I’ll need these treatments for the rest of it.

Maybe it’s a terrible decision, but I’ve decided to vendor again. I’m currently on Leave Without Pay and trying to offset the financial hit while downsizing my comic book, video game, and TCG collections. I’ll be at in two weeks, hopefully these antibiotics will help me rally by then.

What have I been up to? Mostly diving back into TCG games, shiny cardboard has basically become my whole personality. It’s something I can keep up with even on my worst The Aloha Card Showe’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to be grateful for your health, even if it’s not perfect. We always joked that I was a bubble girl, but this really is a lonely and exhausting condition. Appreciate even the smallest things you’re able to do.

That said, I’m still doing my best to live life and accept this new normal (and yes, still cosplay 🦎👸).
