They've done studies that show that new neurological pathways form when you write.

Imagine your brain as a tree and every time you worry or stress out about something a tree branch dies...but then imagine every time you write a new branch grows...this is the benefit of writing even for just 5 minutes a day.

All the more reason to write your book! Writing is good for you health! Your kids will thank you when you show up as a healthy mom who is less stressed out...I should know...When I don't write I show up more easily irritated and overwhelmed...and I have a lot I could be stressed out about as a single mom homeschooling 5 kids lol😂

BUT I'm way less stressed when I write.

So here's a writing exercise for you...Pretend to be a clock and write for 5 minutes as fast as you can (without thinking) starting with..."The best thing I ever did was..."

Staying at home with our kids doesn't mean we have to put our writing on hold until they get bigger and don't need us as much...they will always need us...

I used to think I had to wait to do anything I really wanted to do, but then God showed me through my kids that my kids need a good example of what it looks like to go after a dream.

I've published over 50 books since I started homeschooling my 5 kids and I am so glad I did because they are not afraid to dream big...even if everyone else says they can't do it...they don't care.

They just want to try and see what happens.
