This was the first book I illustrated and published...this is the book that started it all... (not my best work, but we all have to start somewhere right?) Now I'm 63 books in and working on my 64th book.

I never would have called myself artistic or anything like that! I always said my mom was the creative one, but when my 6 yr old daughter had a dream to publish a book it took me back to my high school days when the teacher told us we all had to write and illustrate a book that we would share with the preschool class.

I always wanted to be an author, but I didn't think I was good enough or knew the right people or had enough money to do it.

Now I am on a mission to help other children's book writers save time and money by teaching them how to illustrate their own books without hiring an illustrator and without AI.
