The deal, announced Nov. 3, means Denny’s, the Spartanburg-based company, will no longer be listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange. The deal is expected close in the first quarter of 2026.

The Spartanburg, SC-based Denny’s Corporation has sold to a trio of private investment groups for $620 million. Stockholders will receive $6.25 per share.

Four restaurants in South Carolina have reached what to many is considered the pinnacle of the fine dining industry: earning a Michelin star.
