Fun Fact!

The jockeys at the Aiken Trials are local exercise riders who spend their mornings training horses in all kinds of weather. On race day, they get their moment in the spotlight, showcasing their skills in front of the crowd. Occasionally, a trainer will bring in a licensed jockey, making for some exciting competition!
